My Mac decided to have a bit of a panic attack and ended up sending me to an old folder with my some of my AS and ALEVEL final images, so I thought that I mayaswell post them on here. After all it is a photoblog!

AS Digital Photography project

This project covered a bit of everything, for heave manipulation in photoshop to basic camera skills. There isn't really much focus in this project, but these are my favourites from the large collection

AS Exam - Crowds

For this brief, i wanted to do a comparisom between crowds and a lack of crowds, so i photographed anythign and everything that was crowded together, from animals to bikes.

A2 Coursework - Journey

The aim for this project, for me, was to just photograph everythign and anythign whereever i went anywhere. the below image was taken durnign the occupancy movement outside St Pauls in October 2011 during a work experience with a photographer from the express.

 Geometric - A2 Exam

For this Project, i used a mix of black and white film and digital photography. I wanted to do a mix of Nature showing geometric tendencies and also within man made things.

I enjoied all of these Projects as they helped me to try new things and experiment with different techniques

Out of all of the exhibitions and galleries we visited on wednesday the V&A, Island Stories exhibition, and the private Chris Beetles Fine Photographs galleries were my favourite. In the V&A there were a variety of different works ranging from extreme close ups of eletricals to the contains of a kitchen cupboard. my favourite of all of the pieces was teh collection of images by Fay Godwin and the way that the use of black and which intensifies the images and creates a much more dramatic effect.I must admit, I was very kean on the majority of works from the The Photographers' Gallery, as i didnt acually understand half of them although i think that technically they were quite clever. Many of the images we viewed in the National Portrait Gallery seemed to be heavily manipulated and almost looked too perfect, especially when you looked and the Road to 2012 collection, whereas the works of Thomas Struth, despite being staged looked much more real and less perfect.
