Cold Snap

On Tuesday 11th December, it was freezing cold in Cheltenham, so whilst on my way to Vickiee's via Pitvall Park I stopped to photograph the mist coming through the trees as it looked incredibly eery.

They aren't looking as sharp as I would have hoped as i accidentally turned the quality right down when putting my water mark on, oops!

The Final Selection

I know its a bit late, but these are the final images selected from my first Uni project: The Digital Photojournalist. Despite having a few technical issues with the project, i have ended up with an interesting set of images.My aim was to capture people doing thing, but without actually looking through the view finder!

Studio Fun

Studio time!

So Victoria and I spent the day in the studio photographing shoes, tin cans and each other. The latter was much more entertaining!

Not a pareticlarly good photograph, but I think the background is kinda funky!

Sunday afternoon in the cold

As the weather was pants on saturday, I did this shoot on the Sunday instead. I walked up the high street then down the promenade where the christmas market was taking place, it was very busy (which was perfect) and there were lots of interesting things to see!

This image just makes me laugh, as the man in the centre with the brown coat was actually trying to catch his tiny daughter (in the red) who was slaloming between the crowd.

Out & About in Cheltenham

Continuing on with the jaunty angled street photography, today I have shot yet more photographs without actually looking through the lens. My aim seems to have improved as I have a few images that aren't either at the sky or peoples backsides! So it would seem that my experimentation is slowly improving, fingers crossed my focus will improve as well.

Experimentation

These are a few photographs that I have been taking whilst walking around Cheltenham on a Busy saturday. They have all been taken from the hip as part of a experimental project that I will hopefully incorporate in my project.
